Restaurant Review: Scaddabush

So it was 20 degrees today and since I am now done school I thought it would be nice to get out my house.

My sister Leah and I along with her son Carson decided to check out Square One Mall, but wanted to grab a “small” meal before we walked around.

Sc-a-dah-bush, a new Italian Restuarant across from Square One was our final stop. The food there was beyond words yummy, the decor was authentic and crafty and the atmosphere was relaxed.

For Lunch I Had:

Capri Pasta- Fresh Fettuccine, Shrimps,Scallops,PEI Mussels, Squid, Roasted Red Peppers, Scallions, Garlic, Lemon Zest, Tomato Sauce 

Dessert was:

Tiramisu- Lady Fingers, Sweet Marsala, Espresso, Marscapone Cream, Cocoa


Overall Review: 9/10

Restuarant Review: Frings

The hours passed and soon my 8:45 Frings reservation brought me closer to my 25th birthday.

What did I think?

The Ambiance was great, dark but modern and relaxed. Considering the fact that I had high expections I can say that I was genuinely enjoyed my Frings experience. My server was amazing, my food came in a timely manner and my drink had just the right amount of everything. 

I ordered: 

Pan Roasted Salmon with Grilled Polenta, Asparagus and Lemon Hollandaise Sauce. 

King Mule: Titos Vodka, Fresh Lime, and a bunch of other stuff including ginger Beer. 
I sadly didn’t get to take any pictures of my meal BUT I do have pictures of my time at Frings. 
Overall Rate: 7.5/10

Food: Not so…CHIPOTLE style Steak Burrito Bowl

I am not a fan nor will I ever be of the establishment that is called Chipotle.

I feel as if it is a cult, something that brainwashes everyone and makes them all crave their moderately flavored food.

Don’t get me wrong their burritos taste nice BUT nothing beats a home cooked meal seasoned to your liking with only the best in spices and seasonings.

Last week also known as my last week of College, I decided I needed some brain food and decided to make my own home made interpretation of Chipotles burrito bowl.


1 pack of Spinach Pita Wraps 

2 packets of Steak

2 Uncle Bens Spicy WholeGrain and Quinoa Rice 

1 Pack of Mini assorted Sweet Peppers

Cracker Barrel Habanero Heat Cheese

1 Can Black Beans

1 Can Peaches and Cream Corn

1 Large Red Onion

1 Pack Grape Tomatoes

Sour Cream

4-5 Aluminum Trays

Food: Chicken Parmz

I know it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything good related. I can honestly say that school has had me so busy I haven’t been able to even fully boil 2 eggs properly. 

Easter Long Weekend gave me the chance to experiment with meats and foods again and prepare a nice meal for my family. I like to try new stuff in the kitchen, shying away from the basic spaghetti or “oven chicken”. 

Grocery shopping on Saturday Night was trying perfect opportunity for me to not only cook but also ensure my family was eating something that wasn’t drenched in saturated fats and oils. 

Alicia’s Chicken Parm

4 pieces of Chicken Breast 

1 pack of Gluten Free Pasta

1 jar of Italian Vodka Sauce 

1 whole scotch Bonnet Pepper 

2 pinch of natural sea salt 

3 tsp of Paprika

A dash of All purpose seasoning 

A dash of Jerk Seasoning 

A dish and a dash of other Random Stuff
